NE FEATURE – A 911 Enthusiast’s Wet Dream

There needs no sugar coating. What you’re looking at right here, is the greatest driver-focused 911 there has ever been. But what makes the 911R so special you ask?

Focusing on the essence of driving, Porsche answered the prayers of all 911 enthusiasts by fitting it with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and parting ways with the utterly clever PDK dual-clutch transmission. While it loses the widened Turbo-style body like the 991 GT3 RS; the R still holds the normally aspirated 4 litre flat six that produces 500bhp. The combination of this, along with titanium exhausts has made it 50 kilograms lighter than the RS. Only Six (6) units of 911Rs made it to our shores officially, and this being unit no. 363/991 in GT Silver on Green Stripes.

With limited edition 911s becoming investment chips with returns higher than your average Cryptocurrencies, we’ve come to learn that 1 of the 6 units have been exported out sadly, leaving only 5 on our shores today.
