The Jeep brand has always been synonymous with off-roading and rugged looks. Having a brand with deep roots that leads back to the war era, Jeep has always been a symbol of America. Though, much like other American cars, we don’t see them a lot in Malaysia. However, Jeep is finally back in Malaysia with the Compass after a long hiatus and now under the new management of GVE Asia.
With their new showroom located in Glenmarie, Jeep is kicking off their commercial launch of the brand with the new Jeep Compass. The Compass is offered in two variants with the front-wheel drive Longitude and the all-wheel drive Limited. Both variants offer similar engine specs with the 1.4-litre Multiair Turbocharged engine which produces 162bhp at 5,500rpm and 250Nm of torque at 2,500rpm with ‘Sport’ mode available.
