Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has been on a roll lately with having almost all of their models spec'd out with AMG goodies. Now, Mercedes has expanded its local footprint with the introduction of the new locally-assembled GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line. Going head on into the 7-seater market, the GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line combines the luxury and performance that is synonymous with the Mercedes-Benz brand.

The GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder engine producing a respectable 367hp at 5,500rpm and 500Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. Mated to the engine is a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission with the extended DYNAMIC SELECT transmission modes. The GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line is capable of doing a 0-100km/h sprint in just 5.7s and a top speed of 250km/h, if you're interested in those numbers on a 7-seater SUV.
The GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line is also equipped with state-of-the-art driver assistance systems and best-in-class safety and driving assistance systems including Active Distance DISTRONIC, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and a 360-degree camera for all-round visibility.
The GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line features the new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) NTG 6 with two 12.3 widescreen displays that includes a digital touch screen media display. Other highlights includes the Burmester Surround Sound System and the well-known favourites like the 64-colour ambient lighting with open-pore oak wood trim elements.
