Now, Mercedes has expanded its line-up with the introduction of a new coupé in the form of an E 300 AMG Line. The new coupé heads into the market right after the recent introduction of the new facelifted E-Class. The coupé represents the brand’s innovative tradition, elevated with a new iconic look and intuitive new technology.

The E 300 AMG Line Coupé gets 258hp and 370Nm of torque from the power unit. Similarly found in the sedan is the nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission which is also equipped with Dynamic Drive Mode and Agility Control suspension system.LED Multibeam headlamps that offer brighter and more natural illumination at night are now standard on the Coupé. Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus controls the LEDs by switching between low, partial main beam and main beam automatically. The Coupe too receives a 19-inch set of 5-twin spoke AMG alloy wheels.Available paint options for the E 300 AMG Line Coupé are Polar White, Obsidian Black, Rubellite Red, Graphite Grey, Mojave Silver, Brilliant Blue, High-tech Silver, Emerald Green and Selenite Grey. While more exclusive colours such as Designo Diamond White Bright and Designo Patagonia Red Metallic will be an optional extra at a cost.
Expressive Yet Personal
As a Coupé, the E 300 AMG Line can retract its four power windows, making it the only pillarless coupé in its class. Other luxurious features include a panoramic sliding sunroof, ambient lighting with 64 colours and the new Mercedes steering wheel and the legendary Burmester surround sound system.In the cabin, the Coupé receives the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) NTG6 infotainment system. As standard, the MBUX has the ‘Mercedes me‘ feature with built-in LTE modules. The MBUX consists of a dual 12.3″ display and also a touchscreen, which supports both Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and wireless charging for mobile devices.The new E 300 AMG Line Coupé features the brand’s Urban Guard system, which works with the ‘Mercedes me’ to provide all-round monitoring of the vehicle. It comprises an anti-theft alarm system, tow-away protection with visual and audible warning in the case of a detected change in position, an alarm, interior monitoring for theft and parking collision detection.The Coupé is equipped with a 360°camera, active parking assist with Parktronic, Blind Spot Assist, Active brake assist, Adaptive brake lights, Keyless Go, Pre-Safe system, Kneebag, Anti-theft alarm system, Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and run-flat tyres. Active Distance Assist Distronic, Active Lane Keeping Assist. Active Steering Assist, Active Brake Assist and Evasive Steering Assist are also standard now.
Pricing
The Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line Coupé is priced at RM 495,071.47 (on the road without insurance), however Mercedes will only retain the price tag until the end of the tax-free incentive period.
