We are a huge fan of Porsches of all sort, especially 911s and anything that comes with motorsports and racing history. That is why we are excited to see this particular car when team NoEqual flew to Japan recently.
This is MADLANE MASTERPIECE - a Porsche 964 C2 that has been heavily modified to make it into a very detailed Porsche 935 K4 replica - dubbed 935ML. When we first read about MADLANE and the guy behind it, Kazuki Ohashi through various online articles about him and the brand, we made it into our mission to go and see his car there is a possibility of it.
Our radar were overwhelmed through out few weeks before flying to Japan for Tokyo Auto Salon because we knew there will be other automotive events and meets happening around Tokyo during this peak automotive tourism season. Luck was on our side when Mark Arcenal posted about an automotive art show that will be held during the TAS weekend.
The show, a collaboration between Karrera Showroom and Daikanyama Garage displayed 2 very special car, MADLANE's 935ML and a very clean example of Nissan Z432 Fairlady. Although the Z432 Fairlady is a legend on its own right and considered as the holy grail of the Z, we found ourselves spending a bit more time on the 935ML admiring all the small details around the car while revisiting the articles that we have read about the car during its building stage (which you can find here).
